Our class is made rich through the diversity of our students who come from all different ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. My students are eager to learn and striving for success. We are blessed to have access to chromebooks in our classroom. However, as we learn more about using technology to learn, we are beginning to see the promise that having a ipads in our classroom would hold. Access to iPads would give us the ability not only to create projects to showcase our learning, but also share them with the world through our class Twitter account. Having an authentic purpose for our work is powerful and would serve as an amazing motivator. The chromebooks gave us a glimpse into the world around us. These ipads will us connect with the world both near and far and show them all of the amazing work they are doing. We say that our class is full of "amazing sombodies." It's time to show the world how amazing we are.
