The students in my class come from a wide variety of backgrounds. They range in age from 4 - 6 years old. For some, it's their first time at school, others have had preschool. All of them are eager to learn, curious and special. These children should not be penalized by the huge state budget cuts at such a fundamental level as a classroom carpet.
