A document camera and books will make our story time more seamless during distance learning. Students will remain engaged and less distracted by stuck and skipped pages or not being able to see the book clearly. They will be able to fully observe the pictures with detail and immerse themselves in the story and the magical world that is story time. Story time during our distance learning experience is the only time that some of my students are read to. I want it to be as smooth and fantastical as possible. My students will not only gain early literacy skills during this time, but also build a sense of community and belonging.
