If you have never seen a child who is excited about nothing, but inspired by everything! That is what my classroom is like. My kids come from various backgrounds where they don't expect much from anyone because they are only trying to survive their situation. My short journey with them has taught me a lot about their generation and how they think. Giving them hope for their future is what my goal is by educating them on the possibilities that life has to offer. They believe their school is ghetto, but I always reassure them that they have just as much opportunity as anyone through education and experience. I am growing their experience level every day with new knowledge and people as well as the simple things like basic values. I'm excited about the growth of these young leaders and will put all I have into them and those who come behind them.
