We always try to outwork our competition and we know championships are won at practice. We are slowly gathering the equipment and resources we need so we can focus on the training. This equipment will allow the kids to be able to learn techniques, skills and drills much needed in wrestling. These resistance bands and muscle rollers are needed for safe warming up and recovery. Having the right equipment will improve self-confidence in these student athletes. The items requested will provide this deserving team with the opportunity to safely learn not just the sport of wrestling but also the importance of teamwork, leadership and team building. With these items, wrestling will also help them to understand things needed in everyday life such as self-care as it is a weight-restricted sport, nutrition balance, strategy planning, critical thinking, and discipline.
