Although our students have equipment for filming and obsolete editing computers, they are in need of a quality computer for industry standard editing. Apple products are known to be the superior product for film editing. The MacBook Air will be used in all drama classrooms throughout the entire school year. It will provide drama students with newer technology to make the editing process smoother and help them produce higher quality films and instructional videos. The external hard drive will give them more storage space to store and backup their raw footage and completed films. This equipment will be used in all classrooms throughout the entire school year. These higher quality films will then be ready for entries into film festivals and competition. Competing in such a field will give our students the confidence needed to go forward in whatever area of study or work they choose.
