We are in a COVID hot spot and while I am glad students are able to return to school face to face, it will continue to be much different from years past. I want to create an outlet for students. They have been living in a pandemic for 1.5 years and they need a way to express themselves. Using art and books in the classroom, I feel students can express who they are and be able to get rid of frustrations from living in a pandemic in a healthy way. The supplies in this project will help create a space where students can read, do art projects, and have art supplies for indoor recess times when they cannot run around with friends.
