Because we are a charter Montessori school, we have a diverse student body of unique and creative individuals. Our population consists of less than 400 students (80 adolescents), ranging from ages 3 months to 15 years. While the majority of our students live near the school, some students travel as far as 30 miles to attend. Our adolescent program (grades 7-9) offers a unique combination of academic work and field experiences within a small, safe community. Teachers are subject matter specialists with additional Montessori training. Under our guidance, students participate in rigorous, individualized work. Students also have regular opportunities for creative expression, and are encouraged to organize community projects. Through knowledge and experience, our adolescents develop a better understanding of themselves and their roles in the larger society.
