All our students from Kindergarten through 5th grade come to visit me for science class once or twice a week. We have a diverse Title 1 school community, with more than 50% of our students coming from low-income homes. Science at our school is FUN, with an emphasis on hands-on activities. Students learn through doing, as well as through music and fun interactive activities. Happily, the result has been a school full of young science-lovers, as well as excellent performance on the NYS Elementary Level Science Test.
