My students are a diverse group of high school freshmen. These digital natives are learning to communicate and interact with scientific concepts in a high-performing environment. My students are primarily focused on gaining acceptance into a university of excellent reputation. As I am not one of the honors program educators, I focus on skill-building and conceptual mastery of physics and climate science. The school has a very connected and dedicated staff, and a student body of creative and diverse learners. The community is incredibly diverse, with a growing immigrant population, primarily from Asia.
