The students I teach have beautiful hearts and when each and every one says "I love you, too" I know that it is genuine. In face of grave challenges, we become a family. We have a caring and positive staff that, to spite frustration, comes to work each day to help our scholars push themselves beyond any limiting factor that stunts their confidence or potential. My students are grateful for things that most take for absolute granted. My students are excited simply to HAVE a teacher, and not a substitute. My students are enthralled just to have an adult in their lives that smile at them and are happy to see them. Technology and finances are a challenge however, the spirit of my students persevere.
