The guitars and keyboards that I am requesting will allow my students to be able to experience music not just by listening, but also by creating and performing it. We will be studying music from many different genres, including classical, pop, and rock. They will learn difficult rhythmic concepts, such as syncopation, while working together as a team to create and produce quality music. The students will work in pairs to write their own music and perform it for others. The students will also be able to continue to develop their fine motor skills through practicing guitar and keyboard, as both of these instruments require a certain amount of muscle strength in the hands and fingers.
