My project is all about building a positive learning environment for my kindergarten students! These books will foster literacy and independent reading skills that can improve my student's education for years to come! Kindergarten students are creative geniuses when given the ability to draw, learn, and READ in an environment that fosters their growth. Having access to a multitude of books, and especially books that they can choose and enjoy will be beneficial for every student that enters my classroom! My students will have a year of exposure to a print-rich environment, where many of them have come from a home environment without the ability to have access to a book. This exposure can enhance every aspect from reading to science to extracurriculars in my students' futures!
