I teach at an alternative high school where my students struggled in typical classroom environments. In my classroom, I engage in hands-on activities that fulfill my student's desire for a non-traditional classroom. This environment also encourages them to learn what they are passionate about and helps them grow as individuals. By allowing my students to learn by doing, they are more likely to be stimulated to learn on their own outside of the classroom.
