My students would greatly benefit by having these three drums. Having a drum that doesn't need to be held means that they have a better chance at being successful in their drum patterns because they can use both hands. Also, the tubano drums are culturally accurate and this will help improve my lessons. Having new instruments gives them something to look forward to especially when it is an instrument they've never been able to play before. Playing these drums would be a helpful skill to pass on to those students who are interested in playing percussion in fifth grade band.
