Our schools is a public school located in Dearborn. My students are incredibly driven and determined individuals. 100% of my students are English Language Learners and speak both Arabic and English at home. Many of my students and their families have been or currently are faced with many hardships. When they come to school, I want to make it a very safe and fun learning environment. No matter what is happening in their lives, they always come to school willing and ready to learn. They know how much I enjoy a good book, and how often I start a new one. They constantly are swapping books out of my very small school library. Words are another thing I enjoy! I love using unfamiliar words when talking to them, in order to encourage them to expand their vocabulay. I want them to feel comfortable learning new words, and using them correctly.
