Getting comfortable allows you to get lost in the book you are reading. I want my students to fully utilize their independent reading time by really digging into their book. How many of us sit down at a desk to enjoy a book? I would say most of us can focus on the story better when we are comfy cozy, in a relaxed environment. I want to provide my 6th graders with this environment. These flexible seating options will take away distractions of fidgeting in their desks, so they can stay lost in the story. They will be comfortable and able to stay focused in their books. Adding some fun in the classroom strengthens engagement, and for the kiddos who don't like reading, little changes in the classroom can make the biggest difference! It is my mission to have 100% of my students develop the love for reading! Thank you for your time!
