My students are kindergarten through 2nd grade students that have been diagnosed with a range of disabilities such as Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Intellectual Disabilities in a self contained setting. We are located in a large urban school district in Indiana. The majority of my students come from low income families with more than 90% of students receiving free and reduced lunch. As with most students, my students have a lot of sensory needs and have difficulty learning if these needs are not met.
