Hi! I am excited about incorporating more thematic and inquiry based teaching in my classroom. Students are learning how to think critically and ask questions and solve problems so they can perform in the workplace. My school is currently in the process of becoming an International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme accredited school. The PYP is based on thematic and inquiry based learning. Allowing students a variety of choice in their seating, based on the activity in class allows students to be more engaged in class which will lead to greater success. I am also very interested in "flipping" some of my lessons. This means that I create videos for students to watch as their homework to build their background knowledge. Then, in class we are able to build on that knowledge and differentiate their instruction. Thank you for taking a look and considering my project.
