I have been teaching for five years. This is my second year teaching Fifth grade. What does this mean? I am in need of materials that will help reinforce my lessons--because I have little of NOTHING! I wrote my first DC project late last school year and was overwhelmed with the thought that strangers would donate to help my students have learning materials to aid in their educational experience. My goal this year is to focus a little more on science and ensure my students are able to enjoy, explore and explain all things science. I believe it is good for kids to not only read about concepts (theory) but to also experience concepts (practice). I taught the majority of my students in second grade; it'll be great to finish their elementary journey with them. With that, I'd like to make it memorable with all things hands-on for science. With your help, my hands-on science objective will be possible-thank you in advance!
