Have you ever been in a classroom full of eager to learn students? The excitement is contagious! It is my desire to encourage this excitement, and foster a love of learning, so that my students reach their full potential. I teach some amazing first and second grade students! They are creative, curious, and full of life! They are also meeting and overcoming the challenges of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our school is a Title 1 school in a small community in Florida. Many of our students, especially those with special needs, have limited experiences outside of school. It is critical that teachers expose and involve our young scholars in as many learning opportunities as possible. Donors Choose helps me do just that!
