As a special education teacher, there is more pressure to get your students on level, let alone prepared for the next year. Many children are not on level and struggle to get there. As a new teacher, it is hard to determine what books to buy because of being unsure about their level. Due to the fact that some special education children are behind the level, they should be on, there must be multiple levels from all different grades. The guided reading bundles are to ensure that each child will have multiple books on their level to read. The different seating accommodations are to create a flexible seating room. Students with disabilities may not always be able to focus while sitting in a typical chair. They can get distracted or bored. When children have bouncy bands on their desk or able to choose their seating, it is more likely that they will be comfortable and motivated to work.
