My fifth graders are a creative, inquisitive, and enthusiastic bunch! They love to share their perspectives, experiences, and opinions in our classroom community. As a diverse group who learn in different ways, they strive to do their best with each challenge set before them. My favorite thing about my fifth graders is watching them discover themselves as individuals. They are at a stage in which they can grasp more abstract concepts, think critically about social norms, and learn how to understand different perspectives. They love to question accepted truths, debate two-sided issues, and find humor in everything!

About my class
