My first grade students will greatly benefit from the addition of an iPad Mini in my classroom. It will increase the students' exposure to Apple specific apps in math, science, social studies, and reading as well as fine motor skills, processing, coding, and problem solving skills. It will also provide students access to audiobooks through QR codes as well as an updated technology station in my classroom different from the outdated station that currently exists. Having access to the iPad Mini will allow the students to hold the technology in their hands as well as ultimately increasing my students' academic achievement.
