My students work hard to be the best learners, readers and authors. For many students, sitting still in a standard chair is physically and mentally difficult, making it hard to focus on the task at hand. My students range from 6-8 years old and they are pretty wiggly. Having a set of "wiggle chairs" in the classroom will allow students to release some energy at their table without feeling embarrassed about their chair movement. Allowing students a comfortable, fun way to move (without falling out of their chairs!) will help our young learners focus and be more comfortable during their school day.
