Last year, after working at the high school level for over 16 years, I decided to return to my roots and teach fourth grade. Now that I have one year under my belt, I have identified a few things that my students need to enhance their learning. I will be using the Donors Choose program to assist me in acquiring these tools so that my students may have the best opportunity to succeed in school. Last year Las Sendas Elementary was recognized as an Arizona A+ school. The students/staff earned this distinction through their hard work and dedication to learning. My hope, through participation in Doners Choose is to build a classroom environment where students are excited to learn the foundations of reading, mathematics and science. Thank you in advance for your support. My students will appreciate any contributions you may make towards our goal.
