Students will use the materials to discover how "Water is on the Move" in our environment. We will use the leveled text to read about atom formation, the unique qualities of water, and how weather around them affects their environment. All readers will be successful at their reading level. The basic science supplies of temperature guns, a mobile weather station, plastic containers, water containers, food coloring, gum drops, and toothpicks will assist students in hands-on science experiments to model, observe, and describe energy and weather. Students will record their observations in their science notebooks and demonstrate how water is unique through experiments.
