My students are sweet little humanitarians walking around the school, waiting to be spoon-fed knowledge. They are high poverty level but don't know it. They do not complain and are excited about what the day will bring in the form of cognitive learning. They love a good lesson but I need to continually revamp their learning to make it new and fresh for them. They are a mix of Hispanic, Black, Indian, Asian, and White population. They are always ready to help out and have a smile on their faces. The students that need their emotional intelligence recognized respond with a stimulating lesson and a safe environment where they feel needed and can be challenged.
