Students will use LEGO Digital Designer software to design a robot. Next they will engineer using the LEGO EV3 robot kit. They will work as a team to create attachments to pick up and push objects. They will also consider the type of tire to support force and motion of their robot with objects. To enhance their STEAM skills they will learn how to program their robot. They will measure distance from point A to point B and convert their data into LEGO Mindstorms. Students will problem solve various situations with their robot in order to expand their ability to engineer and program.
