My five young students with learning differences can use their iPads to download apps that provide auditory, visual, and tactile learning opportunities that are essential to providing young students with aids and supports. For little children who have trouble with fine motor skills, touch screen devices, like iPads, are easier to use than a mouse and a computer. The size and portability of the iPad and its case is also easier for students with gross-motor difficulties to transport and iPads can be more engaging and easier to use compared to picture boards.
