All of our students come to school each day ready to learn and grow. Just like typically developing peers, they need to take a break every once in a while. They're working so hard to achieve their goals that at times it gets a bit overwhelming. To reward them for their effort and participation in the classroom, as well as keeping them engaged to their fullest potential, a sensory wall is a wonderful addition to our school. The sensory wall will allow our students to take the time needed to clear their mind, de-stress, and center themselves so that they are ready to go in the classroom. The sensory wall would benefit students and staff alike and help us continue our mission of becoming one the nation's healthiest schools - mentally, physically, and emotionally.
