I asked for three because out of all the ages, 3rd grade is one of the most difficult to get students to attend to task to finish a book, read with meaning (not just reading words), and to sustain reading/building reading stamina for longer durations. I also added headphones to provide the opportunity for students to listen to the text as they track and read to build upon their fluency. Additionally, I added a cart and power strip so I can store these Kindles in a way that is accessible to my students and they can all charge over night.
