When it comes to my students, to my kids, I simply want the best for them. Teaching at a lower income school, most of my students are faced with day to day struggles no child should ever have to face. My hope as a teacher is to provide not just a classroom for my students, but a sanctuary in which they can feel safe and free to learn and thrive in. Whether it is basic supplies to the more extravagant activities, I want to ensure my students receive the best possible education and guidance all within the comfort of our classroom home, our sanctuary. Donors Choose as helped make so much of our sanctuary a reality and I only hope to continue to provide for my students the love and support they all deserve! Our sanctuary is always growing and improving thanks to Donors Choose and the hundreds of donors who show endless generosity and kindness.
