I exist as a lover of chaos, beauty and science. I am a science teacher in Maryland, trying my hardest to instill a love for learning, curiosity and an awareness of wonder in apathetic teens. Our classroom activities are often limited by my personal budget, as our district has frozen most accounts and reimbursement for several years. With 220 students just providing pencils for those who don't have them runs me $75 - $100. Trying to run labs (even those using grocery and hardware store materials) can often mean only doing a demo at the front because I can't afford the materials for everyone to get a chance to do it. Thank You So Much for considering helping my students. These materials will let them EXPERIENCE SCIENCE not just memorize facts. Think back to the parts of science class you actually Enjoyed... chances are you remember it applying to "real life" or where you were able to do the lab yourself
