My school is a rural school that is the center of the community. The school has a long tradition of basketball. Many of the children have families who have been in the community for several generations. The school is the hub of the community with rich traditions including military service. I need engaging books to help them garner the critical thinking and media literacy skills they will need to not only finish high school but help them get to and succeed in college. ATPE member.
