Welcome to our Music Room's page! I recently went to a workshop about using iPads in the General Music room. I was so inspired by what I learned, I couldn't wait to bring it back to school. Only one problem - no iPads! I looked around, and there wasn't even one for me to use with my students. I'm looking for several iPads for my students to use and one for me to help with student assessments. Some of the apps I learned about would allow students to play virtual instruments and add to our ensemble. Other apps help reinforce ear training and note reading. While a few of these apps are free, the majority cost between $3-5 for each device. With iPads and apps, my students will be able to play guitars, ukuleles, games for learning recorder, compose songs in Garage Band, mix and record compositions, and so much more! Please consider taking my 624 students into the 21st century music room!
