These books will help to promote good reading habits in the classroom. Acquiring literature that is popular in tween culture today will hold my students’ attention and make them excited to exchange each book for a new one. Many of my students ask for these series on a daily basis. They instill important values such as friendship and teamwork. They allow students to use their imagination and to escape their many problems for a few moments while they explore these fictitious plots. I would like my students to fall in love with literature and to understand that all interesting things do not have to happen on a television or video game screen.

About my class
