I feel excited to start the new school year in the dual language program. Dual language students are eager to learn in two languages! Half of my students are native Spanish speakers, and the other half are English speakers whose families come from a variety of countries. Our goal in the dual program is to achieve bilingualism, biliteracy and multicultural awareness. They attend a Title One school where we try to give them the best we can with a limited amount of resources.
