Students are required to stay in their assigned seats throughout class, and I need to be able to teach from every corner of my classroom, so they can effectively learn. Having a portable white board will allow students in every area see up close what steps to take in their project to succeed. I recently bought 27 stools for students to sit comfortably at their seats. (Regular chairs took up too much room, and often were too big or too small for the variety of kids' grades and sizes.). However, without stabilizers (balls on the feet), students often fall over. Because the art studio sees EVERY STUDENT every week, more heavy-duty cleaning is necessary. I make it a priority to clean up after every class, but we're running out of supplies. These items, including more coloring tools and adaptive scissors, will support our young students in exploring their artistic personalities in a safe space.
