As a new teacher to Providence Hall, my classroom library is bare! Creating a cozy and inviting reading nook is essential to motivating students to love independent reading. I have created the space in my room, but I need your help to fill it with books. Students need a large quantity of quality books to choose from to foster independence. As a learning community, we practice our stamina for independence in reading and writing every day. This leads students to become self-motivated, life-long learners. Without books to read, listen to, and write about, we can't build these essential skills. Please help me purchase these award-winning, high-interest, and classic books for my students.
