Change classroom photo
Students will use jump ropes, balls and equipment for cooperative play. Students will have the opportunity to come together to create rules for games and then practice these motor skills in a safe environment. Students will learn how to communicate with their peers as they interact by playing games such as soccer, basketball and football. Recess equipment will provide our students the opportunity to work together as a team to "activate" their minds and bodies so they can focus their mind when they return to the classroom setting. Students will have fun and this new equipment will give them opportunities to form life long friendships, while encouraging them to engage in a healthy and active lifestyle.
