My K-5 library students come from diverse backgrounds. They live in a busy metropolitan area and are part of a school district where many families are struggling financially and participate in the free and reduced lunch program. Even though our school of 500 students is a warm and loving place to be, many students still find it challenging to meet expectations for their age and grade level. Technology is a powerful tool that can help students find new ways to learn and express themselves. It has always been my goal to help my students excel in all areas and feel proud of who they are.
