Having a comfortable space to come together as a community of learners is essential for developing positive classroom culture. This rug will do just that! When a learning environment reminds students of home, they are able to relax and be present in the moment. By having the tools to teach best practice, I will be able to provide my students with what they need to improve their reading skills. Reader's Workshop has been proven to increase fluency, speed, and comprehension. These leveled readers will allow my students to have books that are "just right" and readers that are at the independent level. Books are at the core of my instructional practice and these will be ideal to get us started!
