This year I would like my students to have plenty of opportunities to use STEM materials when using the steps of design process. Being new to the school we have very few resources in our classroom to get our brains thinking and creating! Brain Flakes, Mobilo, K'nex, Squigz and Sticky Blocks give students the opportunity to build concrete structures to solve real-life problems. We want our class to put their thinking into action! These resources will be a wonderful way for students to demonstrate their understanding of topics and create models to explain how they would solve problems. Not only can we use this during STEM Time, but we can also use these products during those tough Minnesota winter days when we have indoor recess. Thank you in advance for your generous donations and helping to create a hands-on, problem-solving environment in our class!
