Our school is unique in that it has the students go to a Science Lab every 6 days. In this lab, I will be teaching the Science standards, but taking it even further to include S.T.E.M. activities as well. Each month the school will be presented with a S.T.E.M. challenge to complete. Centers will be set up in my classroom with challenges for the students to complete, using Legos, gears, Perplexus puzzles, Laser mazes, and snap circuits just to name a few. Having hands on activities and supplies will enhance their learning and allow to dig deeper into science standards.
