All these items deserve a good home and by home I mean my classroom! These items are very much needed to help my students be successful in their academic skills and daily living skills. Although, we have tables, it's always nice to change up our seats every now and again to stimulate engagement. The lap desks and yoga balls will be an amazing addition to a special education classroom by offering versatility to our learning environment. Big pencils and pencil grips are always necessary to promote emerging handwriting skills. Who knows, I may have the next J.K Rowling! Not only do the pencils and grips help with our fine motor skills, but also the gears and magnetic tiles. To help with our daily living skills we do have to work on potty training. Having some students that need supports in areas like gross motor skills the toilet seat would greatly increase our abilities to progress in our potty training process!
