I would like my students to be “Guitar Ready” when they move on to Middle School and High School. I want my students to learn a skill that will last them a lifetime. I believe that my students will be well prepared to dive into the vast educational journey awaiting them in Middle school and High school. I believe if I give them a strong foundation in their elementary years through guitar, chances of them being successful are great. I believe that in each child lies a success story. I want my students to experience success before they leave my classroom. I want them to be so successful that all they could think of is keeping on pressing forward. I want them to love furthering their education because it is the only way to success. I want them to be able to look back and say “I can play the guitar! I did it!” Giving them a chance to find their talent encourages them to live life with a great purpose.
I want my students to GROW knowing they have a skill they can use to help them secure a great future. I want them to LEAD and excel in their music educational journey when they move on to Middle School and High school. I know that learning to play the guitar will TRANSFORM their outlook in life. I want them to have a sustainable skill that will last them a lifetime making them better citizens at home, at school, in their community, and become patrons of the arts locally and globally.
I hope that you will see the legacy you will be giving our students by helping us acquire a few more guitars.
