So...why use technology in music classrooms? Any educator will tell you how technology saves the most important asset- time! If my students had a cd player and tablet it would take them to the next level. The use of technology in music class amps up the fun and motivates students to learn. Using technology in my music classroom will allow me to differentiate, and make learning meaningful to all students. Technology allows students to work at their own pace. Advances in digital technology enhance a student's ability to create and analyze music. This means my students who use technology can look at it as another instrument; and, the more instruments the better!
