The puppet theater and puppets will allow my students to engage in the performance of their own stories. Story telling and writing are integral parts of the K-1 English curriculum. Having these items will allow all students to experience the art of performing while acting out the words from their writing. Every student has potential as a young writer and through the experience of play can become even better at writing. My hope is that all of my students will become stronger at reading and writing by being motivated to perform using the theater and puppets. Putting a spot light on every student is also a great confidence boost!

About my class
