This project will help fund not one, but three third grade classrooms in our school. My grade level partners and I are looking to give our students more access to technology within the classroom. By allowing each class access to two Chromebooks, we will have the opportunity to utilize technology more in the classroom. Technology is growing, and our third graders don't want to be left behind! By allowing our classrooms access to our own Chromebooks, our students will be able to research what they are reading, utilize online resources to practice specific math skills, and to practice their publishing techniques on their new Chromebooks! Chromebooks will also allow our students to work collaboratively on projects and integrate this technology into their lessons daily through center work, project work, etc. We would love to have designated Chromebooks for our classroom to use as everyday tools. Our goal is to give students access to an already apparent medium used in today's world. Our students will grow more confident in their researching, their writing, their math skills, and their overall understanding of technology. Thank you!
